What I am asking is if you are assuming that all bus service for the routes you named will be replaced 100% by LRT or not? You are speaking as if the LRT must replace all the capacity of the buses listed in your comparison which I find odd. I would assume that some of these bus routes would still run in some form Ted Godwinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15561985719529647307noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22657184.post-34117644618701040362011-07-13T09:58:02.287-07:002011-07-13T09:58:02.287-07:00According to the plans of BC Transit there would b...According to the plans of BC Transit there would be no buses running on Douglas or Blanshard at any point for any distance.

The current plans with the LRT would be to no longer have the #4, #14, #21, #22 etc... run at all on Douglas. I've been re-considering my support for LRT based on numbers like this.

All levels of government seem all too willing to spend vast sums of OUR money based on 'warm fuzzy feelings' rather than looking at the science (sewage treatment),the numbers (LRT) or the demand (Mactavish interchange).Mike Laplantehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06813745494544900779noreply@blogger.com
