Do not let that fruit on your trees rot

I am more than happy enough to come pick and process your fruit, but another option is to contact the Fruit Tree Project of the Lifecycles Project.   Here is an email that came through to me:

Dear Gorge Tillicum Urban Farmers,

My name is Jenny McCartney and I'm the Harvest Coordinator for the Fruit Tree Project. One of the goals of the Fruit Tree Project this coming harvest season is to collaborate with certain neighbourhoods throughout the Greater Victoria Region in hosting neighbourhood picks, which would consist of picking 5 or 6 different trees within the same neighbourhood on a chosen day, and engaging the community.  We would of course organize the logistics of the actual pick, provide a team leader, all needed materials etc. What we are looking for is people who are interested in flyering their neighbourhood and helping us locate a number of trees within these areas.

We are curious whether there is anyone involved with the Gorge Tillicum Urban Farmers who would be interested in either taking a lead on this, or offering some assistance with flyering, and outreach.

Thanks kindly,
