New Political Party for Vancouver Island

The Vancouver Island Party is in the process of being formed.   Their goal is to run candidates in all 14 island ridings in the May 2013 election.

They are not yet registered with Elections BC.

As of this point there is nothing on their website saying what their direction is our what their platform is.   I heard about the party from Canada Action Party leader Christopher Porter, he is involved, but what his role is I do not know at the moment.

Will they be a serious party seeking autonomy or provincial status for the island?   Will they be left or right?  Will they be philosophically close to the Canadian Action Party?
