Central Saanich by-election April 13th 2013

Central Saanich council has two vacancies at the moment because of the resignation of Terry Siklenka for personal reasons and Adam Olsen so that he could run for the Green Party in Saanich North and the Islands in the 2013 BC election.

Friday the list of candidates was released and they are:

• Andrew Caldwell
• Alicia Cormier
• Adam Gottlieb
• Christopher Graham - former councilor from at least 1996 to 2008, ran for mayor in 2008 and 2011 lost both times
• John L. Hannam
• Susan Mason - former councilor from 2002 to 2011.  She was defeated in 2011 coming seventh.
• James McNulty - ran in 2011 and came 12th
• Bernie Struck
• Bob Thompson - councilor from 2002 to 2008.  He did not run in 2008 but did run in 2011 and came eighth, he also ran in 1999 and came 7th out of 7
• Ryan Windsor  - ran in 2011 and came 11th
