I was cruising through the BC Archives files and found some interesting pictures of my neighbourhood from years gone by.There was a time when the Gorge as far as Selkirk Water was a working part of the harbour. Yes there is still some use of the area, but a lot less and dropping all the time. Budget Steel I presume will be pushed out in the near future.

This next one is Gorge rd to the east of Harriet - amazing how barren the land was left.
The last is on Burnside not very far at all from where I live now. If I were to guess, I think this is at Orillia and Burnside
