The Lady Washington from Gray's Harbor was at Ship Point for a couple of hours on Wednesday. I had a chance to take a couple of pictures without many people around. They were on their way to Sidney for the late afternoon. The ship, along with the Hawaiian Chieftain are both on their way to Steveston for the Ships to Shore event where they will be two of the five tall ships available for the public to board.

5 Tall Ships? 4 ships the Lady, Chieftain , Adventuress, and Zodiac will be at Garry Point. The replica Viking ship Munin will be at Britannia Heritage Shipyard. It was to bad The Tall Ship Challenge had to be canceled this year, hopefully we can see the Tall Ships return in 2014, in Victoria and Steveston. I'm a little PO'd that the Vancouver Maritime Museum has done next to nothing in promoting the visit of The Lady and Chieftain after Steveston ( June 7-13 ).
