Earl Grey Street does a good Halloween party. The street has trick or treaters from 6 to 8 pm thick enough that there are traffic jams on the way to the door. Then at 8 pm in the 3100 block there are fireworks, hot chocolate and hot dogs.

Fond memories of the times we tricked our sons -- probably about three or four -- into eating slices of lemon. Cameras ready we got some classic 'sour faces'.
PS. Any wonder as young adults they view us with suspicion now?
